Welcome! I am Denise, the Founder, and CEO of Wig Boutique, Ltd. I began journaling in 2000 commencing with simple gratitude, and moving on to documenting life’s challenges as they arose. In 2015 is when I began blogging on this site to help others overcome fears based on my own experiences of insecurities. Once I moved to Florida to start a new chapter in my life, is when I found myself wondering now what? I heard a gentle whisper, “Start writing your book.” I thought to myself, I never imagined having chapters to write. I embraced the brilliant idea! This is how I discerned the voice of God.
I was born and raised a Catholic on November 28, 1975. I graduated from Hofstra University with a BA in Business Computer Information Systems. I took an elective class in Jewish studies and grew my faith by reading the Torah. When I began my relationship with Christ, I got baptized at the Centerpoint Church at the age of 26. Being baptized was my way of telling God I want to leave my old ways behind and follow the Lord to the best of my ability. As I am perfectly imperfect.
I was well accomplished in my single years and living my best life. Even though I was well accomplished I still didn’t feel successful. I recorded many lies in my head such as, I wasn’t smart enough, I wasn’t noticed, and I needed people's approval. After being falsely accused of attempting suicide from a minor no-fault car accident, I discovered who I truly was in the Psychiatric Mental Hospital.
2 Corinthians 12, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” When the devil tries to make me lose my faith in God, it only draws me closer to my father Jesus Christ. I thank the Lord every day for the storms that always draw me closer to him. Job 40:6, “the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm.” I never want to miss the whisper of God's voice. I can only persevere knowing Jesus comforts me. Never stop praying, however long it takes. Be encouraged. I’m thankful for the two beautiful boys my ex-husband helps me raise.

Wigs become part of your wardrobe
I have always had an eye for style and fashion. I considered attending FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in NYC. Instead, I graduated from Hofstra University with a BA in Business Computer Information Systems. I love to decorate not just rooms but people. A nice belt, fun jewelry, a purse, and shoes make the whole outfit. But then I discovered that the hair is your final appearance masterpiece. I felt more confident about my self-image when I expanded my wardrobe with more wigs than shoes.
It all started in February of 2000 when I became the founder of New York Wig Boutique in Levittown. With the assistance of my mother working alongside me, we have been successful in helping customers improve their appearance with radiance. When our customers look good, we look virtuous. Your appearance is a reflection of our business.
I embrace change wearing many wigs and hats as I keep reinventing myself as a Wig owner, licensed realtor, publisher, author, and marketing content creator. How many hats do you wear? Start with a wig, and don't wig out. Embrace change and discover what a masterpiece you are. Wigs are a work of art demonstrating your creative style.
